Day 1: Prague to Krakow

We drive through a beautiful winter wonderland crossing the border into Poland towards our end destination of Krakow. On arrival we check into our accommodation and head out to discover all the delicious warm and filling local delicacies that Poland has to offer. In the evening there is an optional pub crawl where you can try the local tipple and see just what this party town has to offer.


Day 2: Krakow

Today is a free day to do as you wish. Discover more about the city exploring the castle district, the Jewish Quarter and the historic Old Town or just have a wander through the markets. You can also visit the Royal Salt Mines or take a half-day trip to Auschwitz to learn about one of the most tragic periods and events in recent history. Tonight join your guide for an evening out in the buzzing district of Kazimierz to discover where all the students tend to hang out.


Day 3: Krakow to Zakopane

We set off early to make the most of the day traveling into the stunning Polish Alps. After checking into our cosy alpine lodge, you have the option to check out the slopes of the Tatra Mountains. Spend the afternoon on the slopes, have a ski lesson or simply soak up the winter atmosphere and indulge on all the scrumptious food they have on offer.


Day 4: Zakopane to Budapest

It's time to head south to the famous Budapest. We stop for lunch en-route at Donovaly, one of Slovakia's well-known ski regions. After check-in, dress up and get ready for a big night out as we head out to discover the infamous underground nightlife Budapest has become known for.


Day 5: Budapest

Today you are free to explore the city. It's your day in Budapest to really get to know this magnificent city. Some of our favourite spots include the Ice-Skating Rink (the largest outdoor rink in Europe), the Castle District and St Stephen's Cathedral. Melt away the evening in the city's famous thermal baths – what better way to spend a cold European Winters evening outside in the steaming hot waters!


Day 6: Budapest to Salzburg

Have your beanies and scarves at the ready, as we travel through snow-capped mountains and white valleys, towards our destination for the night, Salzburg. Salzburg was once the home of Mozart and the Sound of Music so there’s lots of singing and dancing to be had. After check-in your guide will take you on an orientation of the town. Tonight why not head out to a local ice hockey game.


Day 7: Salzburg to Munich

This morning, you'll have time to head into town and see more of Salzburg or why not go on an optional Sound of Music tour where you will hit up all the big sights from the motion picture. Just after lunch we take another scenic trip through the Austrian Alps and back into Germany to the Bavarian capital Munich! After check-in, we take an orientation walk, including a visit to the world famous Glockenspiel in Marienplatz. You'll will have free time to explore the local shops and market vendors, plus some of Munich's best sites including the English Garden or climb the steps of the Frauenkirche Cathedral for the best views of the city. That night we head off to indulge in an optional dinner feasting on traditional pork knuckle and drinking steins at one of the world's best beer halls will be the plan!


Day 8: Munich

While in Munich, you may like to take the chance to visit Neuschwanstein Castle, the inspiration for Disney's Castle, a fantastic optional day trip. Alternatively, a visit to Dachau Concentration Camp on the outskirts of Munich is a must see for history buffs.


Day 9: Munich

The time has come to say goodbye to your new friends. We check-out after breakfast.
