Visit eight amazing and very different locations over 18 days. From Bangkok to Khao Sok National Park, then the amazing Islands of Koh Phangan, Koh Tao, Phi Phi and Railay Bay before finishing in Phuket. Temples, boat trips, Muay Thai, snorkelling, beach parties, kayaking, floating bungalows, loads of beaches, good company and loads more…
Airport pick up, meet and greet
You will be met on arrival in Bangkok by your group leader who will take you to your guesthouse and introduce you to the rest of your group. The first day is kept free to relax and unwind after a long flight before heading out to get to know the group over dinner and a few drinks on Koh San Road
Bangkok River Cruise and Temples
See behind the scenes of Bangkok as we cruise by private boat on the Chao Phraya River then stop to explore two of the most important temples in Thailand. Experience some Thai culture before jumping on a local Tuk Tuk back though Bangkok to Khao San Road where we will have a late lunch and arrange a time to meet in the evening for dinner.
Thai Massage and Overnight Train
Today we check out of our Bangkok accommodation as we prepare for our journey down south. In the morning we will go to a local spa for a traditional Thai Massage, the perfect way to relax before the overnight train. You will have a few hours to shop on Khao San Road before we meet late afternoon to head to the train station. You can either catch up on some sleep or take in the views of both Bangkok and the Thai countryside as we travel south to our next destination.
Khao Sok National Park
We arrive at Surat Thani around 7am where we will be picked up and taken to Khao Sok National Park. Khao Sok is home to some of the most incredible scenery in the world. We travel by long tail boat to get to our floating bungalows which are situated on a beautiful fresh water lake surrounded by mountains. You will be able to swim, go kayaking, tubing, bamboo rafting, explore some caves or just relax and take in the stunning views. A huge contrast from Bangkok.
Arrive in Koh Phangan - Bottle Beach
After Khao Sok we catch the ferry to Koh Phangan. When we arrive we are taken to Bottle Beach (one of our favorite spots in Thailand), a beautiful, secluded bay in the North of Koh Phangan where we can chill out in the sea or on the beach and have our own private beach party in the evening with some cocktails, a camp fire, lanterns and music. You will spend the night in your own private beach bungalow and can wake up at your leisure to the sound of the waves breaking on the sand.
Bottle Beach and Muay Thai
Today you will have the morning to laze around on Bottle Beach, swim, play beach volleyball/football, build sandcastles or whatever else you want to do. Later we head to Haad Rin to check into the resort where we will spend the next 2 nights. You can take part in a Thai boxing lesson (Muay Thai) or have some free time to explore or chill by the pool before we meet for dinner and possibly a few drinks on the famous Full Moon Party beach.
Phangan Island boat trip
Today we head out at 11am to catch a boat and explore some more of Koh Phangan. Snorkel some of the islands best spots, visit the waterfall, stop for lunch on the beach and watch the sunset from the boat on the way back to the resort.
On day 8 we will catch the ferry over to Koh Tao or `Turtle Island` where we will spend the next 4 days (Recently voted `Best Island in S.E. Asia` in a Trip Advisor survey). We stay in the middle of beautiful Sairee beach just a few meters from the sea. Whilst in Koh Tao we organise a boat trip to Koh Nangyuan with snorkeling, cliff jumping and viewpoint treks as well as a beach BBQ and Koh Tao pub crawl!
You will also get the opportunity to take part in several other optional adventure activities including scuba diving, rock climbing, abseiling, water skiing, wake boarding and free diving. Or you can just spend your spare time chilling on the beach and soaking up some rays...
On day 12 we leave Koh Tao and head over to Railay Beach, a lovely spot on the West Coast which is technically part of the mainland but cut off by mountains meaning you can only get there by boat so it still has that `islandy feel`. We have three days and nights to completely relax here. Chill out in one of the many cool bars and restaurants, on the beach, trek up to the lagoon and viewpoint if you fancy a challenge or take part in some optional activities like snorkelling, sea kayaking and rock climbing. In the evenings we can check out the bays night life and watch a fire show over a cocktail or two.
Koh Phi Phi
The next two days are spent on the famous Phi Phi Island where we take you on a sunset boat trip round the islands, we stop at Maya Bay (Where they filmed `The Beach`), monkey island and the Viking caves as well as some snorkelling in Phi Phi’s emerald waters and free lunch on the boat and swimming with the phosphorescence (really cool glow in the dark plankton) when the sun has gone down. Again you will have plenty of time to relax on the beach, explore the island, experience the nightlife and more optional scuba diving.
On day 17 we hop on the island boat over to Phuket, the largest of the Thai islands where we finish the trip. Here will explore the wonders of Phuket and Patong in party Tuk Tuks as a final night party to celebrate the end of an awesome trip! On day 18 we can help you sort out all of your onward travel whether it`s back to Bangkok for a flight home or the next leg of your Thailand adventure!
