Arrive at Euston Station at 08:00am and meet the Golden Tours representative by the Ticket Office who will check you in and escort you to your reserved seats. Train departs at 8:30am arriving at Oxenholme in the Lake District at 11.08am, where your guide will meet you on the platform. It’s now your chance to Explore Oxenholme, Lake District and Beatrix Potter. You will drive through the beautiful country passing lake windermere, where you can stop for a photo on the shores of Esthwaite Water, where Beatrix Potter wrote her famous stories. Next you will visit Hill Top, which is the home of Beatrix Potter and explore the farm and gardens. You will continue to the medieval village of Hawkshead on to Coniston Water where you will enjoy a lake cruise. You will pass Tarn Hows which is a picturesque beauty spot and also cross the Yew Tress Valley which is known for its local roe deer so keep your eyes peeled! On your return to Windermere you will have another photo stop at Yew Treee Farm which was the setting for the film, Harry Potter. In the afternoon enjoy Cream Tea at Lindeth Howe - Home of Beatrix Potter. Day 2 - explore Lake District at your leisure

Day 1

Arrive at Euston Station at 08:00am and meet the Golden Tours representative by the Ticket Office who will check you in and escort you to your reserved seats. Train departs at 8:30am arriving at Oxenholme in the Lake District at 11.08am, where your guide will meet you on the platform.
From the train station, admire the spectacular views of Lake Windermere as you travel through the narrow country lanes that criss-cross this scenic landscape. On route you will stop for a photo opportunity on the shores of Esthwaite Water, which is where Beatrix Potter penned her famous stories. Next you will visit Hill Top, the home of Beatrix Potter and explore the farm and garden. You will continue to the medieval village of Hawkshead that is known for its quaint featured. On route to Coniston Water you will take a lake cruise, which passes Tarn Hows, a picturesque beauty spot and cross the Yew Tress Valley which is know for its local roe deer. On your return to Windermere another photo stop is in order at the Yew Tree Garm which was the setting for the film, Harry Potter.
After a busy day sightseeing you will be able to indulge in a traditional cream tea at Lindeth Howe - Home of Beatrix Potter . This classic, traditional Lakeland country house hotel is set in 6 acres of its own private garden.

Day 2

Explore Lake District at your own leisure - why not take another sightseeing tour of the Lakes. Your return train departs the Lake District at 6:30pm and you will arrive back into Euston Station, London at 09:24.
