Day 1

On arrival you`ll be met by your bubbly tour guide and whisked off to your pre-booked Chiang Mai accommodation. The remainder of today is all yours to explore charming Chiang Mai or just laze by the crystal clear, refreshing pool. Chiang Mai is the second largest city in Thailand and has become the modern, cosmopolitan capital of the north - make the most of your time here and hit up some locals for tips on fantastic things to see and do!
The charming people, the vibrant night bazaars, the old town full of memories, and the many fascinating temples enthral travellers from around the world. Chiang Mai is small enough to get around by bicycle - what better way to get the wind in your hair!

Day 2

After a scrumptious breakfast you`ll be met again by your guide between 8 and 9 in the morning. After meeting your other (just as excited!) tour mates, board the Songthaew (an open pick-up truck) and head off on the three hour drive north!
After the bumpy - but beautiful - ride, a longed-for lunch will be waiting your arrival! On a sated stomach, embark on the 2-3 hour hike through tropical forest arriving at the night`s village camp. Make sure you pack light (and thoughtfully!) because you`re the one surviving on - and carrying - that equipment for the two-day hike! That afternoon there`s plenty of time to explore the village and even help out rustling up the night`s tucker! After a tasty forest-feast there`s time to talk with the village locals and learn lots about their intriguing way of life.
Tonight`s kip will be on authentic floor mats in a cosy bamboo hut - the traditional way of sleeping for the locals! The perfect opportunity to get close to nature... and this amazing culture.

Day 3

Today you get to do it all again! Yummy breakfast, then an amazing hike to the next local hilltribe village. After a revitalising lunch there`s plenty of time for exploring and talking with the locals before chowing on some dinner grub and collapsing in a happy heap in the bamboo hut you, by now, will be well acquainted with!

Day 4

Rise and shine, it`s the final trek-day!
After yet another scrumptious lunch in one of the local villages you re-board the trusty Songthaew and begin the three hour journey back to Chiang Mai.
The night`s accommodation will be in a pre-booked hotel in Chiang Mai. The evening is once again yours to spend as you please!
