Day 12-14: Austin

The best music weekend of your life – or at least your time in America - has finally arrived. You’ve been training for it over the course of the last 11 days, but the immense ACL festival is about to kick it up a notch. The Glastonbury-esque festival offers an unrivalled line-up year after year with acts such as Camila Cabello, Phoenix, Metallica, Paul McCartney, Foo Fighters, Kendrick Lemar and many, many more that have dominated the main stage in recent years. The festival’s fun and friendly atmosphere is in keeping with Austin’s laid back nature and ‘weird’ mentality. If you get peckish throughout the day make sure to check out the ACL Eats Food Court, where the infamous Austin food trucks are stationed. Experience some of the best mainstream acts from all over the world, among budding local artists, with a group of likeminded fellow travellers. Don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten about your leader, who will join you at the festival. The best thing about attending a festival in America? Having a bed to recover in at the end of each night! Music and comfort – an unbeatable combo in our eyes!
