Day 1: Arrive the Whitsundays

Welcome to the Whitsundays, aka total, uninterrupted paradise. Why? Day 2: The Whitsundays

Want to up your Instagram game? Today we’ve got the option to sail to one of the top 10 beaches in the world – Whitehaven Beach. Known for its fine silica sand (check how it squeaks underfoot), impossibly turquoise waters and ocean vistas that will make you feel like your dreaming, this place is like heaven on earth. Hike up to the main viewing platform, snap the perfect shot and watch those Insta notifications roll in.


Day 3: The Whitsundays to Cairns via Townsville

What can top the Whitsundays? Not much...except the Great Barrier Reef, the next stop on our road trippin’ adventure.Tropical Townsville never fails to impress with its Colonial buildings and checkered maritime history. We'll get orientated with the city and grab some lunch before kicking on to Cairns.Vibing restaurants, bouncing clubs, & endless tropical feels greet us in the town of Cairns. As the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef this is one of Australia’s most buzzing little towns, and the energy is seriously catchy.


Day 4-5: Cairns

Well good morning Cairns you delightful palm tree paradise. We have two days here to get deep - which may even mean a scuba dive on one of the 7 natural wonders of the world. You game?


Day 6: Cairns to Cape Tribulation

Today we hit the open road and pay a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage listed Cape Tribulation and the Daintree Rainforest, meeting up with a local Aboriginal guide to walk through the rainforest and learn about the culture and traditions of the native people. Want a little adventure in the treetops of the Daintree? Why not experience ziplining through the canopy?


Day 7: Cape Tribulation to Cairns

Rise & shine – Cape Tribulation beach is calling, and we’ve got some giant mangroves to explore with our local guide. Nature fix complete, we’ll make our final stop, Cairns, passing through the pretty seaside town of Port Douglas on route.Tonight we'll be saying our final farewells in Cairns, as our trip ends upon arrival at 4:00pm. Swap social deets, squeeze in last minute hugs, and start making plans for Contiki round 2...
